PE and Sports Grant
The £17,713 PE and Sport grant that Laygate Community School received in the financial year 2018 / 2019 has been allocated in various ways to ensure a lasting legacy of the money.
The impact of the PE and Sports grant funding is as follows:
- teachers are now more skilled in teaching quality PE
- bring in professional athletes to work with the children
- children take part in more schools competitions
- we continued to run our football team.
- Introduction of more sports clubs being run after school
The PE and Sports Grant for 2018-2019 will enable the school to sustain the above throughout the academic year.
